2025 Officer of the Year – Officer Brian Radziwon

It is an honor to recognize Officer Brian Radziwon as the 2025 Plantation Police Department Officer of the Year.

Officer Radziwon joined the Plantation Police Department in 2003 after an 18-year career with UPS. Over more than two decades of service, he has built a reputation as one of the department’s most trusted and dependable officers — known for his calm demeanor, tactical expertise, and willingness to mentor others.

During his career, Officer Radziwon served in Road Patrol, as a Field Training Officer, and as a SWAT Team Leader, dedicating 16 years to the SWAT team. In 2015, he joined the Street Crimes Unit and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, where he continues to locate and apprehend violent fugitives across South Florida.

In 2025, Officer Radziwon assisted in the apprehension of approximately 75 violent felons, serving as the lead investigator in 15 cases. Even after stepping away from SWAT, he continues to support patrol officers during critical incidents and provides valuable training and tactical guidance.

For his leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public safety, we are proud to recognize Officer Brian Radziwon as the 2025 Officer of the Year.
