Mr. James Richard "Jim" Doak, 89, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Jim was born in Georgetown, PA on April 24, 1936. He moved to Florida in 1959 where he was a Police Officer then was a Detective. He moved to Bay County in 1980 where he and his wife Karen owned two cocktail lounges.
Jim is preceded in death by his father, Francis Wayne; his mother, Harriet Ella Doak; brothers, Francis, Donald and Tom; and sisters, Geraldine Mamula and Mary Jane Bible.
He is survived by his wife Karen; children, Jim Doak Jr., Timothy Doak, Lisa Kontogiannis (Paul), Mikael Winters (Kristin), Heidi Victorino; and ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 in the Reception Room at Southerland Family Funeral Home with The Rev. Lisa Martin officiating.
